For my mythical beast I chose the cú bird, which is a mexican bird, who used to be the messenger between the birds, in exchange the birds would give it one of their feathers, to make it look beautiful.
It's a mexican legend and a lot of regional bands have made songs about it, and about the bird's song and beauty, it's really pretty :)

I changed my mind! "Älgfrode" is much better, a Norse mythological beast with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a moose. Awesome! Like a satyr but half moose. I would like to think that they have majestic antlers as well. :)

For a mythical beast name, I would have to go with Jötunn, the ancient frost giants of Norse mythology.
