Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Hey, everyone! Just a friendly reminder that general sale tickets for Rhett and Link's Tour of Mythicality will be on sale tomorrow morning at 10AM your local time! If anyone was unable to get a ticket during pre-sale, but is still interested in attending, here are some tips and tricks on scoring the ticket you want! I've been to many ticketed events, and I understand how frustrating it can be to score the seat you want.
First and foremost, make sure that you (or someone who can purchase a ticket for you) are on the ticketing website EARLY! What I usually do is I log on about 10 minute beforehand and refresh the page every few seconds. There's a VERY SLIM chance that some sort of glitch in the system may occur, which could release tickets a couple of minutes ahead of time.
Also, pre-register for an account with the ticketing website. Signing up early will create an account for you with all of your personal information stored on file. Generally, this DOES include some method of payment, which will make the check-out process go a LOT faster and way smoother!
If you're like me, and you're very particular about where you like to sit, check out the ticketing website ahead of time. There SHOULD be a seating chart available for that particular venue. It's always a good idea to know where your spot is beforehand, with a few back-ups just incase that particular seat is sold-out.
Keep in mind that while this will obviously be a VERY popular event, and tickets will most likely go VERY fast, don't get discouraged if you get the "No tickets available" screen!! More often than not, as you put your ticket in your shopping cart, a little timer will appear in the corner of your screen. This tells you how much time you have left to complete your purchase before the ticket is available for others to grab. I've seen it happen too many times where tickets go back on sale minutes after the even being sold-out. This is usually due to people holding tickets in their shopping cart and time expiring before they finish the check-out process. Another thing you can do is consider giving the venue a call. Sometimes, the box office will hold certain seats for in-person or over the phone sale ONLY.
Hopefully this if of some help to you guys! Very importantly, keep in mind that the success of the Tour of Mythicality MAY bring about another tour sometime down the road, in the case that you're unable to attend this time around. Also, as a last resort option, third-party re-sellers, also known as scalpers, will also be selling tickets. These, however, can cost as much as 10 times the original ticket price. I personally disagree with this practice, but if it works for you, that's always an option as well. Best of luck tomorrow morning, everyone! :)
