HEY! there is at least one MythiCon meeting in the plans for Australia, and I believe it will be right in your area. 

Lucas (I'm Brony and I'm Proud) is the host in charge of planning the Victoria event.  You should contact him to discuss some details.  I don't think he has decided on a meeting place yet.
