@ Daisy - - - the only thing that could possibly stop a MythiCon-UK event from happening would be LACK OF INTEREST - - - as in previous years, there is a lot of talk about folks wanting one, but nobody willing to step up and host an event. 

Hopefully, someone will be beast enough (*cough*cough*YOU!!!*) to take control and make it happen.

Last year there was a meeting set for Suffolk that fell out (host had a schedule conflict and had to cancel) and two that "might" have happened although I never got any firm confirmation - - Edinburgh Scotland and Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester
