I've Played many of both, the Fenders and the Rickenbackers. It is quite hard to compare. Any thoughts?

for anyone who thinks that the DOUBLE BELL EUPHONIUM from the song Seventy-six Trombones in The Music Man is just make believe . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkD16rVZyUQ

They are very real, were quite popular in big bands of the 1920's, but  just not produced commercially for the past 50+years
