Excuses - "It will disrupt my time",

"My skills are needed for more important things",

"Tomorrow is [day other than Monday]. It's the perfect time to do homework",

"The weekend is a great source for time-wasting AKA homework",

"I/We already learnt this today/yesterday. I'll do it tomorrow to jog up my memory"

Or you could rebel and think "I/We already learnt this stuff at school. Why learn it at home?".

You could also try thinking "School drools. Procrastinators rule!" but that's likely not to work. Below is a conglomeration of things you could do if you didn't do it at all. I apologise in advance for its length -

If you didn't do your homework, either malign (but you might get in trouble and get found out) or say that someone told you that it was due the following day. If there's a substitute, convince the class to tell him/her that it was due at a later date because then the substitute will think that the teacher misinformed them (this usually works) or tell him/her that they shouldn't check it as they wouldn't understand it as they weren't there to learn about it (this works for assignments). If none of these things work, be late if it's raining and you walk to school (you'll probably get in trouble for it) and blab on about how your homework mysteriously got "soaked" on your way to school. Bring evidence for this. Or if the teacher goes around the class looking at work, copy off of someone else or prank the teacher by getting injured (sicknesses usually don't work). Or you could ask to go to your locker/bag/other to "get your homework". Then come back and look really disappointed and apologise a lot to the teacher and say stuff like "I could've sworn that I brought it in. Sorry". This paragraph was probably not necessary but I was procrastinating in order to avoid homework. How serendipitous(?)!
