Well, even if you have a nice lunch and mythical day of celebration all by yourself, it's worth it.

And yet, although I haven't heard back from Grace yet, I am certain that neither Josh nor Anil will be deterred from attempting to gather a crowd of mythical beasts around them this year either.

Thanks Gumbo, suppose I wasn't kidding when I said that this would probably be the most remote mythicon venue. But I knew it was a long shot considering the Northern Territory (NT) is twice the size of Texas and with a population of about 200,000 total. We will just have to wait and see if anyone will show up.

You're right, there are only a very few kommunity members who have identified themselves as your neighbors in the Northwest Territory.  In fact, although 90 members have posted a shoutout to their homeland of Australia to identified themselves for The International Mythical Beast Mapping Project none are from the NT . . .even Tasmania has more activity going on!!!

I researched the kommunity member database to try and locate other MB’s in your neighborhood to help you invite folks to the MythiCon-NT event.  A search can be done either for a member name or the city they live in, if listed.  A quick search for DARWIN only pulled up six folks - -- 2 guys actually named Darwin both living in the Philippines plus these four folks, but unfortunately none of them have been active lately.

You are welcome to probably the most remote Mythicon for 2015. Everyone is welcome and I hope you wont hesitate to join me for this event. Whether you're from Katherine to Kakadu or Nhulunbuy to Nightcliff, I welcome all Territorians and other visitors to this great part of Australia for the DARWIN MYTHICAL MEETUP 2015!
