New Kentucky fan here!  From South Central KY.  We love Rhett & Link!

Well, I'm registered away from the bluegrass since I'm across the country right now, but I'm a Kentucky boy born and raised :)

Kentucky! We've got the Ohio River, Appalachian Mountains, the world-famous Kentucky Derby, and other awesome stuff! Kentucky ROCKS!

Kentucky...I have a job, live in a house and have all my own teeth!

Kentucky is a beautiful state full of good people. There is no better place to raise your children than in a small town in the mountains of Easter Kentucky. Don't believe everything you see on TV, that's for sure. I grew up in Michigan, just north of Detroit and I'm so thankful that I was blessed to raise my children here, in the country. God has been very good to me.

I live in Louisville (otherwise known as Loo-ah-vul), and I couldn't agree with you more!!  BTW, not only do I have all my own teeth, but I also wear shoes and I am NOT married to my cousin!!!

My nephew plays for the Cards - Elisha Justice #22, he's a freshman.  We travel to Louisville about every other week to watch him.  Heading there tomorrow for the Card's last home game.  I am also NOT married to my cousin.  Glad to meet ya.

Your nephew played a good game today!!  Although I am a Kentucky fan, I'm sorry for Louisville's loss!!!  My husband and I actually root for Louisville . . . when they are not playing Kentucky!!  Congratulations to your nephew again!!

Thank you so much!  We are very proud of him.  He called my husband last night and they talked for over an hour.  He's sad for his team, but a little excited to get to come home and visit for a weekend....something he hasn't been able to do since last October!  We sure do miss him!  He did have a very good game yesterday - with a sad outcome.  Pitino did brag on him in his press conference after the game - so that's good.  Thanks again for the kind words.  Hopefully UK will stay strong and make us all proud.

From your lips to God's ears!!  lol!  Congratulations to your nephew again; he played with a lot of heart, and what more can you ask of a young athlete?  Having "coach" mention him in the after-game press conference should be a real confidence booster!!  Will he be @ UL next year?

Yes, he will.  And we were all thrilled to her Pitino talk about him too!

Good for him for returning next.  When I told my husband who your nephew was, he said he's had his eye on him; he said he can tell he has a lot of talent.  I hope he goes far in his studies . . . AND basketball!!
Kentucky: yes, we do wear shoes.

Despite the stereotypes, which are quite entertaining, some are not always true. As a Kentuckian myself I can vouch that there are some fully clothed and educated people in this state. No I do not live on a farm and I have all my teeth. I am from the smallest of small towns that neighbors the only city in the United States built within a meteor crater. If you like sight seeing or horse races I definitely recommend stopping by the bluegrass state.

im from Cynthiana and we are not backwoods hillbillys well most are not

Been awhile since a posting apparently, but I too am from Kentucky

Obvious been forever since anyone has posted here, but I too am from Kentucky.
