Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

This is (probably) the last time we'll be back in the Avatar world.

So tell us, what did you think of the Legend of Korra finale?

I only just watched the finale episode(s), and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed.  LoK lost a lot of my interest after Season 3, and I almost considered not watching Season 4...but I'm glad I did. The whole arc of this season addressed all of Korra's character flaws and wrapped up the major loose ends in a tidy and compact package (minus the "Remembrances" episode that was basically just a "remember this stuff before it all ends" episode). The return of Toph and the uniting of the Beifong clan was a major and welcome achievement of this season -- you can never have too much Toph.

I liked that we weren't privy to the whole discussion between Korra and Kuvira when they were in the spirit world. All we needed to know is that they had a talk and came to a personal agreement that ultimately ended the war. It was a touchingly quiet way to end things, after all the destruction and chaos that came before it. I'm glad I gave Season 4 a chance after all.

Show creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko weigh in on that final scene:

I'm glad this happened, because I hate Mako. And if it wasn't Asami it would have been him. I'm kind of upset this was the last time we saw these characters. Especially since there wasn't much closure for Bolin, Mako or Lin!
