Also, for you new aspirers . . . did you know that VIMEO offers a free series of Video School for Beginner lessons, as well as several tutorials on more advanced topics?

The Pledge from Andrew Garcia on Vimeo.

Here is another recent film from Andrew Garcia, who I have mentioned here earlier with Second Mile Film School Tutorials.  This video is based on a monologue by Red Skelton from his weekly family TV show original broadcast in 1969

And here is Andrew's recent video exploring his home state as he tests out some new equipment. You should definitely go full screen and HD to experience this one.

  • DJI Phantom with Zenmuse Gimbal.
  • GoPro Hero 3 Black+

Idaho: An Aerial Experience from Andrew Garcia on Vimeo.

If any of you guys ( or girls) have heard of the visual novels called "Ascension", my friends, crew, and I are making three movie adaptations of it.

Be aware guys, DSLRs can only shoot up to 30 minutes in one go then stop automatically. Keep it in mind when asked to film conferences. Not my main focus - creating promotional videos for clients and stuff. However, I'm on the case though for an all-in-one Social Media Content Creation solution for Facebookers, Tweeters and YouTubers - simple as a firmware update but there is this stupid regulation in place that prevents it from happening - spam Canon - YEAH!!! :)

I want to make films so bad. (be it short films, music videos, skits, anything really) I just am having trouble getting inspired. I often will start to make one and watch it back and just realize how stupid it is. Any tips on how to get inspired?
