I have a fledgling vlog with a friend who is the Rhett to my Link. The Tay to my Ray, since we're known as RayTay. Does anyone have any tips for vloggers just starting out. (Well...KIND OF just starting out.) I put a link to the vlog below. Feel free to subscribe and comment and like. (And obviously what I mean by that is PLEASE DO THOSE THING BECAUSE WE ARE SO DESPERATE.) We're both seniors in college and I'm headed towards a career in social media marketing and she's going to teach elementary school.

We are so desperate, in fact, that we have invented the word GIMORTUNITY.
At some point within the next few months, people who are subscribed to our YouTube channel and/or "like" our Facebook page (both of which can be found at the bottom of this) will EACH be getting a special, personalized treat from us. Something dedicated to ONLY YOU, to let you know how special/weird you are. Feel free to subscribe/like in the next few months just to take advantage of this opportunity that is clearly a gimmick. Gimortunity. We're 100% fine with that. It's going to take awhile to do something for each person (or to even get started because of school and whatnot), so I'll be posting stuff like this for awhile. Take as much time as you need to think of what you want.

Examples: a song, a poem, a skit, a drawing, an interpretive dance, yelling your name out the car window for 2 minutes, making a drink & naming it after you, prank calling someone on your behalf, being in a vlog via skype (or in person), us using ctual video clips from you, making a craft out of random odds & ends, etc.

Ideas and requests are welcomed with open arms because as you can see, we don't have that many ideas for perks. Nothing is off-limits unless it's super gross. You may also opt for us to surprise you or for absolutely nothing. If we don't know you personally? No problem! You can send us personal information, we can go off what we see in your vlogs (which gets YOU extra views from us as we "research" who are you), or we can make stuff up. As I said, (most) nothing is off limits. And this will be happening for months and months and will probably be put on a second channel, but won't be private (unless that's requested) so they can be shared with anyone you want.

And again - any tips are appreciated. We've been trying to find a network or a group online to join that we could be a part of. Besides this one, is anyone part of a group? Our vlog is comedy. We also lack good equipment. Does anyone know of a cheap way to get good equipment. I don't mean, like, illegal stuff. I just mean cameras with attachable shotgun mics that are surprisingly amazing for their cheap prices, etc. ANY SUBSCRIBERS, LIKERS, OR COMMENTERS ON OUR VIDEOS: WE LOVE YOU. VIRTUAL AWKWARD SIDE HUGS AND HEAD NODS TO ALL OF YOU.
