Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

Sometimes in life, we feel like we want to be recognised for the efforts we had put into something, as simply as receiving the applause for all the hardwork put into a performance. But you can only get fame when you stand on-stage. There's a price to pay just to stay up there.

But other times, some people prefer to be the quiet worker, who understands that the show will not run if not for what you have been doing. So you'd rather be bossed around and serving other people without being told how much you are appreciated because you believe, that if it were not for you, they wouldn't make it there.

So who would you rather be?

I'd rather be a performer, but for the love of the arts not the love of fame.
I think I'd go with back stage crew, and I'm sure it's just because of my personality. I tend to get embarrassed when people make a big deal over things that I do. But on the flip side, I don't like things I do to go totally unnoticed. But in thinking about this question, I can much more easily picture myself as backstage crew rather than a performer on stage.

Back stage crew! :)
Same for me! I haven done both but I came across times when I thought putting on a facade to entertain people who paid to watch a show was tough job...

This is tough because I've done both in my life... I like performing on stage but if it's acting, I'd prefer to be back stage.
Back stage. I don't really like much attention.
I'm opposite Anna. I've done both too, but I love acting. I get more energy from acting than I do from being backstage.
I'm a performer myself.
It's fun.
Behind the scenes. More time with the family more freedom and I can eat as much as I want-since the actors will be on stage they won't notice me eating their lunches
back stage crew... for i don't really know what reason
Backstage hands down. I've had to be on stage several times in my life (orchestra, praise and worship, recitals, etc.), and I never got used to it.
I'd prefer backstage...... then i can dress like the geek i am and not worry about people commenting, only the people i'd be working with would see, and i work with them i'd probably be comfortable enough to not care what they think:)

( my dream job would involve walking around in my pjs and monster feet slippers backstage helping the main guys out and possibly making small appearances if i needed to)
most likely the acting and on stage. i think it could really benefit with conquering a lot of fears as well as develop good skills such as public speaking!
Onstage! Because you can always help backstage, no matter the show...Being onstage has a much slimmer chance of happening. I'd take it when I could.
