What is your favorite poem?

We all have come across poetry at some point in our lives. And like it or not, it inspires something in you when you read it. It may be something silly, romantic, or serious. But it is always something that resonates with you. My favorite poet is Shel Silverstein. His poetry has inspired me to follow my dreams of being a comedian. Here is my favorite poem

Mrs. Mctwitter the babysitter

I Think she's a little bit crazy

She thinks the babysitters supposed

To sit upon the baby!

It's simple, hilarious, and all too literal. That's why it inspired me. It's not too ridiculously complicated, and at it's core is just silly.
