RhettandLinKommunity

Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

I've been a fan for a few years now, and I am an illustrator for a relatively new webcomic.

While watching some of your videos on this lazy Sunday afternoon, I've come to realize that Rhett bears a slight resemblance of one of the characters in my very own comic!    By slight, I mean that he is male, caucasian, with combed back blonde hair, a darker beard, and relatively stark and expressive eyebrows,.  Yes, it is slight, but enough to make me think that if I were casting him in a movie, Rhett would be my first choice.  He has been a relatively unseen personality as of yet with only three scenes, but he will be appearing again.  I would love to develop him to resemble Rhett even more.  i.e. facial structure, expressions, stature, etc.

Do you have any objections to me blatantly basing him on your image?  Perhaps even publicly saying so to our fledgling fan base of around 2000 readers?

A little history on the character that currently (slightly) resembles you:
Robert is a zombie, but he appears as human as any person did while they were living.  This is because he is a super genius, and has developed the technology to "upgrade" himself so that he is not a rotting puddle of zombie goo.  He is also the only number five category zombie in existence.  When all of the humans had either been killed or eaten during the zombie apocalypse, Robert developed TOGM (The Other Grey Meat) as a brain substitute.  He is regarded as the zombie messiah, heralded by category 4's, 3's and 2's religiously.  He is an extremely powerful zombie, and not a force to be reckoned with.

With your permission, you could be God of TOGM-land.  Ok, your image with the name Robert could be God.  Think about it! :)

The Other Grey Meat comic is rated PG 13.  We sometimes make off-colour jokes of the sexual nature, but there will never be any nudity or graphic sex in our comic, ever.  We're targeted at audiences from around the 18-30 age range, and probably have a majority of male readers.

(Please, feel free to check out the comic sometime, we sure would be honoured!)

We also have www.greymeat.com, but our host is unpredictable and slow at the moment, so we prefer to direct people to the former one.

Thanks for your time, and I hope that you might reply!  (I hope you'll say yes, this could be fun!)  (I totally understand if you say no.)
