Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

Hey, Beasts -- remember the Good Mythical More episode called "Our Hiatus Vacation Stories" (https://youtu.be/0BQVYVkMoHg)? When Rhett was on vacation during the pre-Season 8 hiatus, he and his wife went into a surf shop that turned out to be owned by Mythical Beasts! Matt and Allison gave Rhett a custom GMM skateboard that Matt had made himself, which Rhett also showed off in the episode.

Well, flash forward...I just stumbled across Matt and Allison's shop, Liquid Foundation Surf, advertising on Twitter that they're selling a limited edition run of 100 custom Good Mythical Morning skateboards! The page says that they have permission from Rhett and Link to sell these skateboards, which is really interesting. Scrolling through LF Surf's Twitter page, it looks like they've been advertising the skateboards since September.

Check it out here: http://shop.lfsurf.com/collections/skateboards/products/gmmskateboard

The skateboards are not exactly cheap ($150), since they're both custom and limited...but they'll make cool collector's items!

What do you think of it, Beasts?

I think that is one great Mythical Beast skateboard! :)

FANTASTIC!!!  I'd probably get one if I wasn't old and fat and lazy and afraid to break my neck.

FYI - for newer members who might not be familiar, there is a listing of all the items recieved and discussed on the various seasons of GMM and Thursdays Means Mail!  episodes.

Whenever something really extra cool is highlighted that I am able to trace to the creator, be it an individual or company information, that is also listed in the mail archives.  In this instance, Rhett showed off his mythical skateboard on a Tuesday since it was not received in the mail.

This is where Rhett got the Mythical Skateboard from Matt Gardner ~ The Big Cheese at Liquid Foundation down in San Diego . . . http://www.lfsurf.com/

And, if you can't personally make the trip down to San Diego for a visit, you can still "STEP INSIDE THE STORE" and take a virtual tour via Google maps!

AH, I really want that GMM book! It's so well-done and artistically beautiful! I don't think R&L would ever sell copies of it since they didn't write it themselves and it was a gift to them, but man, it would be so great to have and share with friends and their kids! :)

If I skateboarded I would buy one.

I think that's awesome!!! Super glad to know that people dedicate time into making unique things for the fellas!

That's an absolutely gorgeous board. If only getting stuff shipped wasn't so expensive.

Well, that's a really cool item, but i don't skateboard =/, but i would definitely buy one if it was signed by Rhett and Link, since they stopped selling the mythical poster signed at their store =(  , and the Link's phone and Rhett's Drill were way off my budget....

It's awesome! But I can't afford it (and I'm in Australia)

I would ask for one for Christmas but I'm afraid they will be sold out by then. My parents would order one in December.

There hasn't been much advertising around it -- I haven't seen Rhett and Link announce this skateboard anywhere -- so there could very well be some left in December!
