Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

I know you guys fuel your own ideas and create original material at a consistent pace which obviously leads you to be very busy individuals, but if some future opportunity arose, would either of you ever consider being involved in another acclaimed director's film, just as an actor? I don't mean become full time actors, but would you ever take up the offer as a one time gig if the project in question appealed to you? Or would you prefer to always be working on your own material? It would be fascinating to see Link or Rhett transform themselves for the silver screen. I've been really curious what your thoughts would be.

Haha! Wouldn't that be something!

Good question!

I think we're open to acting in other's work...but, at least for now, we're thinking we'd want it to be as a duo (i.e. not just one or the other).

Given that strict criteria, what roles in (past) movies could we have filled?  Thoughts, everyone?

IN  NO  PARTICULAR  ORDER:

  • Butch Cassiday and the Sundance Kid
  • Riggs and Murtaugh (Lethal Weapon series)
  • Bialystock and Bloom (The Producers)
  • Felix and Oscar (The Odd Couple)
  • Bill and Ted (The Mythical Adventure)
  • Hope and Crosby in any of the old "Road to . . . " movies
  • Laverne and Shirley
  • Rocky & Bullwinkle
When you say past movies, like parts we think you would've been good in? Well if that's it what immediatley pops into my mind is comedy. But i don't think it would be anything like Jim Carrey would be in because he is like goofy funny. You guys are more of a clever funny. In someways it can be fairly serious. I mean not really but looking at you guys you could probably do some serious stuff. But I think comedy is what you guys seem to like most =P You know I think you guys could be good in anime because you are very um what's the word, like, Expressive, yeah expressive. Those are my thoughts, I can't think of any specific movies though right now.
Thanks for replying Link! Hey, I loved "Looking for Ms. Locklear" so much I'm giving it to my sister for Christmas. Really touching stuff. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see your new stuff.
